Wesley (Wes) H. Stearns
Wes is an award-winning photographer focusing primarily in the Carolinas. Since 2004, he has demonstrated his diversity through offering an array of capabilities from studio work to on-location architecture and landscapes as well as commercial, retail and abstracts. Wes' photography has also resulted in others winning awards for their work in home and pool design competitions. His passion for sharing what he is able to see, which most people tend to miss in their busy days, and capturing it on film with an artisft's eye has inspired him to launch an entire product line based upon his photography. 'Sēk' is an inspirational product line developed from the heart of visionary photographer, Wes Stearns, of Artist Eye Photography. Wes believes inspiration can be found in nature in the most profound and symbolic ways. Through his "artist eye", he captures nature and combines it with words to communicate feelings that inspire, motivate, calm, and invigorate. Through his camera lens people are exposed to things missed or taken for granted. His photography has uplifted many hearts and minds through powerful imagery and unique and unexpected presentations. His ability to transform imagery from camera lens to artistic expression is matched by his ability to recycle and transform everyday materials into stunning frames and mounts for his work.
Wes is compelled to explore his full potential with a vision of inspiring others. His love of the earth, nature, photography, and a belief that "we are all connected" has given birth to his new product line of inspiration and empowerment. His creations are a true gift mixing sensory perceptions with emotional expression. Wes and Sek were recently mentioned in a new book, Me, Myself & Inc., by Sherre' Demao.
